I know you are taking your time with Outlaw Empire. Luckily I only started the series this year so my anticipation is not where older fans are. I am wondering if you have any recommendations for other authors to read until in the meantime?

Nicholas Eames I sure do! Some books with a similar vibe are The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman (my favourite book of the last few years), Among Thieves by MJ Kuhn (sort of a fantasy heist story with a ton of great banter), and Orconomics by J Zachary Pike (the start of an excellent and truly hilarious series, but with plenty of heart as well!).

I'd recommend Scott Lynch and Joe Abercrombie, but I assume you've read those masterworks already!

Hello Nicholas, I'm just looking for some clarification as Kallorek has been described to have both an underbite and an overbite which would make it regular? I'm assuming one of these was meant to be the other and just wanted to know which it was. Judging from how orcs look I would guess that he has an underbite not an overbite but wanted to check. Thanks.

Nicholas, just wanted to say that Kings of the Wyld was one of the most enjoyable fantasy books I've read in a while. I loved the band analogy with different groups. Was wondering if you'd given thought to who each character was as a member of the band. Seems to me that it would be Gabe - Singer Frontman, Ganalon as the lead guitarist, Clay as the Bassist, Matric as the drummer, and Moog as the quirky keyboardist?
