I may have read Spy School Project X 5 times. I know you don't take advice but when Summer or Erica seem like they like someone else it makes me feel very mad at them. Can you please stop that? Hi Alp. Glad to hear you are a fan. But no, I can't take advice from readers. That said, no character is perfect. If they were all perfect, there wouldn't but much of a story in every book. Also, I have never had Summer or Erica appear to like someone else. My protagonists might THINK that the girls like someone else, but that's never the case. So if anything, it's a failure on the part of my heroes and not the girls.
