I am currently working on The Stolen Mackenzie Bride, out in October (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...). I'm going back to the Mackenzies from the past, around 1745. (Ian is telling stories about their history, and this is one he tells--exactly as it happened, of course). Malcolm Mackenzie is the youngest son of the 1745 Mackenzies--he's wild, rowdy, and obsessed. Right now, he's obsessed with Mary, the daughter of an English earl who has close ties to the Kind of England. Trouble is, Mary's engaged to an Englishman who also wields a lot of power.
I'd planned to do only Malcolm's book, but now I'm thinking... he has two brothers--Alec (one of a pair of twins), and William, the baddest of this Mackenzie family. So there might be more, who knows?

Hi Jennifer, I have recently started reading the Mackenzie & McBride Series. Will you write a story for Patrick and Rona too? They have raised all the other McBrides and I feel they need a story of their own. :) Though all the other McBrides think of them as very serious, they do have a sweet romantic side. :D

Hi Ms. Ashley I love your shifter series. I was wondering if you ever thought of doing any books on couples you have already wrote about? I know you throw in little tid-bits of past characters in each book but I would love to have another book about Liam and Kim or Diego and Cassidy, Graham and Misty, Eric and Iona?

How do you complete the first draft of any of your books? I'm an aspiring writer working on my first novel, but I'm having trouble getting the first draft complete because I keep going back to edit what I've written knowing it could be better. It's like a vicious circle! Any advice would be so greatly appreciated!
