What was your inspiration for the Breed and how many more novels/novellas do you think you will write? I love the Breed and hopefully it'll be many many more lol :)

Lara Adrian I'm so happy you're enjoying the Midnight Breed series, Rhonda. Thank you! I've always loved vampires, no matter the genre. But I didn't find the undead part of the mythology especially romantic, so when I began developing my series (ten years ago now!) I incorporated the things I liked about vampire mythology, but I decided to give my Breed more of a science fiction twist for their origin and physiology. Sort of "Blade" meets "Predator." With sex. ;-)

As for the future of the series, I have several more novels and novellas on the drawing board or in process now. Can't wait to share them!

I have been trying to purchase Bound To Darkness since its release in Sept. I can find it on e-book sites but I actually purchase and keep all your Midnight Breed books. I can not locate it anywhere. I've checked Books A Million, Hastings, Barnes and Noble, Wal-Mart, Kroger, Target, even online. I've asked the two above large book retailers if they could even order it, I was told they can't get it. How can I get it? T
