Anna Todd:
I know that you're very vocal on women being confident in themselves. Do you have any advice on how to gain that confidence?
Anna Todd
Yes! Well, I have advice for my opinion on this at least. Women, especially young women are so quick to be their own worst critic. We are made to believe that all women have to be thin with curves in the "right places" but what about me who is "fat" and happy? Am I not beautiful? Hell yes I am and so is every single woman in their own way. "Too thin" or "too thick" are the worst words a woman can hear, but they will most likely be said sometime in your life, unfortunately.
In my opinion, we have to learn to love ourselves and worry about other people's "opinions" later. The easiest way to do this is to focus on you, what makes you feel beautiful, whether it's wearing a certain type of clothing or makeup, or the exact opposite. As a teenager, I always worried about tiny things that felt so important. For example, I had terrible acne. But guess what, so did half of the girls in my class. I had "big hips" but guess what? So did other girls. My best friend was thin, she wore a size zero pants but you know what? She felt insecure too. She felt too thin and unattractive. Ninety-nine percent of the things we worry about our appearance are so trivial and mostly no one is going to think that same thing that you feel.
If you are feeling down about yourself or staring at your acne or stretch marks, collar bones or lack of, please do me a favor and take a piece of paper and write down everything that is beautiful about yourself, from your eye color to the way the sunlight makes your hair shine and read it every single morning. You are beautiful, acne or not, split ends or not, crooked teeth or straight teeth, you're beautiful and there's only one of you so if you don't love yourself and feel confident, you're going to make yourself unhappy in the long run and you have to be happy with yourself before anyone else can make you happy. Gah, this is so long! Sorry lol, but remember, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and your confidence is more important than what any guy or other woman thinks of you!

Anna Todd:
Hi Anna, I loved your series of After. Such a talent for someone so young. It is not easy to develop characters like Hardin and Tessa with such insight. Well done! The continual flow of your writing was a pleasure to read. My one disappointment is that you didn't give them a wedding!! I was so looking forward to it! This would of been a book in itself!! Could you possibly do it or is it too late?
