Ah, seems like all the questons I had are already on here! But thanks so much for taking the time to answer them. I absolutely love your Maiden Lane series because of how relatable and real the character emotions are and also the grittiness, I think it really reflects the time period well. If I had one question about them it would be how do you choose the chapter intros that match the stories? They are just perfect!

I'm so glad you like my books. ;-) Usually when I'm writing a book the fairy tales come first to me, even before the complete plot outline of the larger story. They often help me figure out main themes and ideas in the book, like a peek into my subconscious. Sadly, I can't tell you how I come up with them, though.
