So I'll just say I can't WAIT to read his book... (no pressure then!) and ask instead do you break off to write snippets from other books if they come to you, or do you manage to stick religiously to one book at a time?

So glad you're enjoying the Maiden Lane series! ;-) I have to confess that the minute I actually start writing a book, it loses nearly all the magic for me and becomes hard work. The next book (or books! or series!) is ALWAYS more interesting. I do note down ideas--because I have lost ideas in the past--but I don't start writing the next book until I finish the &*%$# one I'm on.
