Hi Jahlen,
I LOVE librarians. They are like super heroes in my opinion. Books saved my life when I was a teenager. Librarians and booksellers don't just sell or check-out books. They give knowledge. They give empowerment. They give hope.
Talking to others about a book you love helps persuade others to read. I often want to watch a movie or TV show because of the enthusiasm a friend of mine had for it. Why would a book be any different? If you're excited about a book and you tell someone about it, odds are they'll want to read it, too.
