The League Series... is it best to read the books in order written or in order of generations?

The generations is a misnomer. It's actually broken into two part, The League: Nemesis Rising and The League: Nemesis Legacy. They're about the events that lead to Nyk's ascension to the Andarion throne and then the years of his rule and following it. So no, you don't have to read them in order. But I would suggest reading Born of Defiance before Born of Betrayal only because of the BOD spoilers that are in BOB.

You have previously stated (at a No Mercy signing, in answer to a fan's question) that any carbonated beverage would affect any god the same way that Ash reacted to drinking the Sprite. Would sodas affect Simi that way as well, or was that only because she was part of Ash when he drank it? What about Xirena or any of the other charontes, or other demons?
