Emily
Emily asked Lauren Oliver:

Dear Lauren Oliver, When it comes to my future career someday (after I've tackled high school and college) I wish to be a Professor of Literature, and an author. I've been told by my friends and family that I'm good at writing. However, writing a book outside of school and other activities, I sometimes find myself not in the writing/productive mood when I need to get into it, or get creative. Any author tips?

Lauren Oliver Try to force yourself to write, even when you're not "in the mood." Writing is like a muscle, that grows stronger the more you practice it.
