I just loved Demon's Bluff! The ending was so perfect. I've been curious since reading The Turn about how much Trent knows about his parents role with the virus or whether Quen has kept their actions a secret from him? I totally understand your reasoning for not continuing the plague story post covid, but seeing Trisk and Quen kick Baku butt would be a great story!

I'm reading the Drafter and see that book 3 is written but not published. At this point it looks like the big houses are not going to do it so I urge you to publish it yourself. While the series doesn't have the ratings of the Rachel Morgan books (who could compete with Jenks & Al after all?), the Peri Reed books still have healthy ratings & in fact there are many other book series published that have worse ratings.

I'm re-reading White Witch, Black Curse. Pierce knew Trent's dad. Mia knew Pierce and a lot of key characters. I'm so curious if they will emerge in your prequel novel(s). From other novels, it also seems that Trent's great-grandmother knew Al, as did his mother. Her spelling hut sounds like a peaceful space, not fearful. I'm wondering if Al had friendlier relationships with those who summoned him before the Turn?
