Goodreads asked M. Duda:

What are you currently working on?

M. Duda I've just completed two anthologies of short stories, We Dream at Twilight and Whispers from the Grave.

I’ve never been happy with my first anthologies. The books didn’t do each story a justice. Sure, there was some artistic experimentation to the covers, the stories collected for thematic reasons. But what about you, the reader?

The stories should have been brought together by genre. That’s more than fair. I’ve selected individual stories from Bedtime for Seneca, A Cat Will Play and Deny the Father. Together, these four stories make up We Dream at Twilight, a dystopian reading pleasure. Or a nightmare, for those of you who may be easily frightened.

Think of a show like Black Mirror. The endings are usually tragic. Nothing seems to truly be resolved. But the stories seem to be making a point about something. Theme is where the reader comes into the picture.
