Annemarie Pedersen
Annemarie Pedersen asked Erik Larson:

I read Life After Life this summer...would love to know what you thought of it? Such a different book and approach to a subject. Thanks-

Erik Larson I'll let you know. I've just started reading it.

More Answered Questions

Lisa L.
Lisa L. asked Erik Larson:

Which of your books was the most interesting to research/write?

Kathleen Hall
Kathleen Hall asked Erik Larson:

Do you 'know' your characters when you begin or do they develop as you move the story forward? If the later, was there ever a time when you were shocked or surprised by the attitudes, reaction or voice of the character?

Ken Hohman
Ken Hohman asked Erik Larson:

You're a remarkable writer. I have a deep apprec. for your research. The detail on Ferris and Olmstead (fascinating) in DITWC set a new standard. With T-struck, tho, I'm wondering how you obtained some of the minute details. Ex: "Ethel found that walking the deck with Crippen became less and less pleasant." Surely, she didn't express that in writing, right? Run into the same challenge in my writing, so curious.
