Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't write. A second grade teacher told me that. I had been writing since I could hold a pencil. I came home crying and my mother asked me this very important question: "Do you believe her?" And I answered, "No.". She wisely continued, "Then what's the problem? Keep writing." And I have, regardless of if anyone reads it.
