1) Have you read The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale? Isi, the main character, has similar wind powers to your sylphs. 2) When Vane's dad advises him that 'with great power comes great responsibility,' was he (you) making a reference to Spiderman?

I have read The Goose Girl, though it was a rather long time ago. I'd forgotten that was Isi's power. Now I want to read it again! And ha, that was a slight Spiderman reference. I love superheroes. :)

I feel kind of bad asking another question, but here I go. I'm stumped on adding "fillers" you could say, to my book. I don't want to make it fast paced, but I don't want it to be boring either. Do you have a method to get your imagination working? (By the way, thanks for answering my last question! I was super excited! :) )
