First can I just say THANK YOU for accepting my friend request! Even though you already have a ton of friends! Second, I was wondering, since you're on Goodreads enough to answer questions and accept friend requests, do you ever look at the profiles of your friends? And also Do you think you could have an event somewhere in Utah? I'm in Utah and I don't think my parents would let me go to Texas just to go to an event.

Shannon Messenger Aw, you're very welcome. I do always accept friend requests, and I try to keep up with reader questions. But to be honest I really don't have time to do anything else on goodreads. I never check profiles or reviews or scroll through my updates feed. I pretty much log in, accept any pending friend requests (unless the person looks like a creeper, which is rare, but does happen), mark any books I'm currently reading, and log out. And then once a week I log into my dashboard and answer any reader questions. That's it. I also NEVER read or respond to goodreads messages (it even warns people of that in my profile). I want to keep fanmail all in once place, so I can fairly answer it all in the order received. So fans can of course ask me questions here and get a response. But if they want to message me privately, they need to use the email address on my website (which sadly runs about an 8-10 month reply time). There aren't enough hours in the day for anything more than that, unfortunately.
