HI Margot! I never intended them to be a match until I began writing the beginning of the series, and I thought it was be wonderful to make them friends and incorporate both the marriage merger and the marriage bargain characters! Then slowly I realized they were destined for each other and I couldn't wait to get to that book! I truly hope you love it as much as I loved writing it and thanks tons for the question!
