As an aspiring epic fantasy author myself, I'm always curious about word counts of recent debuts. How many words is Promise of Blood?
Brian McClellan
Promise of Blood is about 165K words, if I remember right. I think Crimson Campaign is about 180K, and Autumn Republic 175K. That's off the top of my head, though.

Hey Brian, want to say I am a huge fan of the Powder Mage Trilogy. It's probably my favorite series ever. So i was wondering if you are planning on releasing a colored map of Adro, Kez, Deliv, Novi, etc.? Like the one at the beginning of the books. I think it would be awesome to frame and have one.
