Evan Currie Sorilla is kitting up for a new run even now, but as for the Marines... you know they always get the short end. :)

In all seriousness, the armor available to the Odyssey was like everything else... the best of the best, because it was the only ship of its kind and everyone wanted a spot on it. The Auto is one of many, and they just can't outfit it to the same level... not enough suits to go around.
