Do you think Fifteen Minutes would be an appropriate book for a book club that has an eccentric collection of readers with mixed interests? Would you consider it an easy book to "get into?" If not, I will just read it alone with my book club secretary, @Ruth.

I think you book club would love the book, and thanks so much for thinking of it. In addition to being a book with lots of twists and turns, there are many issues about justice, family, and the law which make for a great book club discussion. In fact, I will have book club questions on my website when the the book goes on sale on April 14th, and I hold a book club contest every year, and the winning club is my guest for dinner at their favorite local restaurant. All who enter (first come, first serve) are invited to my home for a Big Book Club party, which is a two-day event with 1000 people. To enter, all you have to do is read my book in your book club, and take a picture of everyone in the book club holding a copy of EVERY FIFTEEN MINTUES, and email or mail it to me. Thanks so much for the great question, and I hope that you and your book club enjoy the book. Best, L

Lisa Scottoline:
Hi Lisa! This may be an odd question but, when you very first started writing, how did you discipline yourself to keep at it in times of frustration? And what did you do during those times to get back to it? I'm writing a memoir and am having a difficult time trying not to critique myself too much. I was wondering if you had any helpful hints on the process. Thanks for your time!

I hope it is okay to ask a question that is not about books. I often see photos of your canines on Facebook. I currently have two corgwyn and I love them because they make me laugh every single day. So, I was just wondering, do you prefer Cavalier King Charles or Corgi as a breed? And, if so, which and why? Also, I love your books!
