Celia Sandoval
Celia Sandoval asked Robert Beatty:

What do you do when you come across ¨writer's block¨?

Robert Beatty Good question, Celia. For most writers, writer's block comes in many forms: procrastination, fear of failure, "not having time to write," kids to play with (or feed!), dogs to walk, nice weather, books to read, projects to build, "everything I write seems stupid," and so on. There are always a hundred reasons why it's sometimes a challenge to get around to the process of actually writing. My main method is to pick a time each day, sit down, and start writing. Just start doing it, and keep doing it, even if it doesn't feel perfect, just write and keep writing. Many writers find that the habit of writing every day is important to them, even if on some days, the writing isn't as good as they want it to be.
