If you could choose any writer to write a book with who would it be and why?

Robert Beatty What an interesting question! It would probably have to be JRR Tolkien. I've always loved his work. It would have been great fun to have been in the "Inklings" group with Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, sitting around at Oxford, chatting about their various writings. I'm not sure if it would have been like, "Alright, finish up your tea gentlemen, Mr. Lewis is going to read something for us today..." Or more raucous, like,"Oh, no you don't! My Balrog's going to crush your White White!"
