Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Caitlin E. Jones "Chimehour", and its subsequent sequels, were sort of spurred from a collection of ideas I had over the years. Mostly about characters and less about plot lines. I grew up with a lot of Irish music and folklore in my household, so I was already very familiar with creatures like the fae and dullahans.

Moreover, my original concept was a more steampunk story, where Stanley was (kid you not) the villain. I grew somewhat attached to him during brainstorming, and let him tell me his story instead. The rest just happened. ^^
