I'm reading The Keeper of Happy Endings and very much enjoying it. I'm from the Boston area, and know exactly where the building is that Rory chose for her museum! Rory's mother is Camilla Lowell Grant, Lowell being her maiden name. I'm wondering. What made you choose Lowell as her mother's family name?

Barbara Davis Hi Penelope! We lived in Dover, New Hampshire, while I wrote that book and my husband and I just LOVE Boston, so I loved being able to include a specific building. I'm thrilled that you recognized the location! As for the name LOWELL, I wanted a name that suggested her family had been a wealthy founding family in the area.
