How much were you influenced by Tolkein? I noticed a lot of similarities in the mythology when reading the Novice- which I loved by the way :)

Quite a bit in terms of the fantasy races, though less so for the plot, setting and characters. That being said, I was also inspired in turn by others who use them, e.g. Skyrim, Warcraft, Warhammer and Dragon Age to name but a few!
