Now that I've listened to "Professional Integrity", I'm even more convinced that you could be a great author of detective fiction, if you ever decided to try it. I had already noticed in the Riyria books some elements and devices, and some writing skills, that are typical of that genre. And Royce could be a great detective, besides being a great criminal... So, have you ever thought of writing detective fiction?
Michael J. Sullivan
I have! The problem is getting time to do so. I have a stack of books waiting to be written and fitting in a new series with all new characters in a new genre is a big undertaking. That being said. Now that The First Empire series is done (from a writing perspective), it might be a good candidate for my "next series." I've long wanted to have a book released in all the various genres that I enjoy: Fantasy, Science Fiction (check), Mystery/Thriller, and Horror.

I know I have asked this before but cannot find it - I just saw Age of Empyre is available to pre-order on Audible.com - does it in any way diminish your chance at hitting best-seller lists if I pre order it? Is it better to wait until first week of release? Sorry for repeat question but I have memory issues yet a zeal to proselytize your sales :)

Hi there! I was looking at books (as one does) and found this https://www.abebooks.com/9780197671238/Born-Innocent-Protecting-Dependents-Accused-9780197672/plp. Is this you? If not, I can separate it from your name. Or we can leave it as it is, there’s just a note in the GR description asking for the change. Also, yes, I’ve read everything! of yours, and passed the books on to others. Thanks for writing!
