Lauren Oliver:
Why did you decide to write all three Delirium books in a different style? I mean, delirium is in chapters, Pandemonium is divided between then and now, and Requiem is split between Lena and Hana. Also, I'm curious as to why you decided to write it from Hana's perspective. Another person would have written it from Alex's or Julian perspective, I think, or even Raven's.

I wanted each book in the series to expand the world. Using the different structures allowed me to do that. Especially with Requiem, I realized that the one perspective missing from the story was the point of view of someone who had taken the cure. Writing from Hana's perspective allowed me to explore that, and to tie up some loose ends from Delirium.
