How is your husband? When a loved one is ill, especially when long and or extreme, it's a devastating thing for all involved. Take care of you, as well. It won't do him, or anyone, any good if you become worn and ill, too.

Katharine Kerr Katy, thanks for asking. My husband has Alzheimer's dementia. I was trying to take care of him and write, too. Needless to say, that didn't work. We now have a professional caregiver in the house. It took some searching, but I've found the right person. Next step: work out a routine so I can get some books written!

I own all the Deverry books and love them all. I LARP and my long lived character, (also in RPGs) is called Nevyn (Swiftarrow). Thank you for providing me with a ton of ideas over the years and many hours of great reading. My question: Did you originally envisage your story running to quite so many books, or had you thought it would just be that first set?
