You have taught me about China in its many periods while also touching my heart. I have cried with Lily (literally for an entire day) and I have loved with Peony. I know that I will be reading your novels over and over. And I am greatly looking forward to reading The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane. Will there ever be a book tour for this novel? If so, when and where? I would feel so honored to have a book signed by you.

As you can see, I haven't been looking at Goodreads as often as I should. It's taken me 44 days to answer! Shame on me!
My excuse is that I've been working on the new novel. If all goes well, THE TEA GIRL OF HUMMINGBIRD LANE will come out next summer. I'll definitely go on book tour, although I'm not sure where yet. Where do you live? Even if I can't get there, I work with an independent bookstore owned by women, who are happy to arrange getting signed books to people like you. They bring the books to my house, I sign them, and then they mail them. It's great all around. Let me know if you'd like to do something like that and I'll pass along the information. But hopefully, we'll get to meet in person first!
