Hi! I have several questions, actually. here goes: if Dex's parents are a bad match, how did he get into Foxfire? Or do all elf kids just automatically get in, and the ones who are labelled "hopeless cases" get sent to Exillium? Also, would you be willing to tell me how much it cost to get one of your books published? I'm hoping to be published someday, and I was just curious.

Eek--I try not to comment on world details that haven't been explained in the books yet, because sometimes the answer can be a spoiler. So I can't answer your first few questions.
As for your last question, actually, I didn't pay my publisher. They paid me. That's why selling a book can be such a long and challenging process, because the publishers have to pay you what's called an "advance" for the book and then hope it sells enough copies to earn their money back.

Hello! I know these are really unrelated, random, and out-of-nowhere questions but... 1)Do you ever watch anime? 2) When you were back in school, what was your favorite and least favorite subjects? What were your electives? 3) What's your favorite genre? (For books, movies, so on...) 4) How did you meet your husband? (Sorry if this is a bit personal and weird, I'm just naturally curious about those things...)

Hi! It's me again. Sorry for asking so many questions! I was thinking about the prologues in book 3 and 4 and I was wondering: Are the prologues in your book deleted scenes that you just HAD to put in the book because they were awesome but didn't fit into the story? And is Friday the Thirteen's still a working blog? Thank you!
