How do you deal with writer’s block?

Janis Freegard I like to work on several things at once, such as a poetry collection, a short story and a novel. If I feel I'm getting stuck on one thing, I move on to something else. Also I write to-do lists and chapter plans, so I can refer to something that gives me a prompt for what to do next.
