Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R. Weir It came from the short story I wrote using the same main character Jarvis Mann titled The Case of the Missing Bubble Gum Card. I wanted to bring Jarvis back with a little more of an edgy, adult case. And using the scenery of the Denver Metro area as a background was a bonus. It originally was going to be another short story but evolved into a full length novel. I really liked the main character and wanted to flesh him out more. Creating a series using Jarvis is the plan.
