I just sent A GRIFFIN's FEATHER to my German editor. It will be a sequel of DRAGONRIDER. I also work on Book 4 of my MirrorWorld series, which will take my heroes to India and Japan. And....I am playing with INK&MIRROR which will show why these two are the same world. O yes - and I do a picture book called THE BOOK NO ONE EVER READ

Hi! I absolutely LOVE your book, Dragon Rider! It was one of the reasons I fell in love with books. You're such an inspiration! And you are funke-y! (Get it? FUNKe-y? Bet you haven't heard that before!) I also love Thief Lord, which doesn't seem to be mentioned so much in the questions below. What do you feel is your biggest success so far? I feel like Jacob is a very different type of character than most YA heroes. Unlike e.g. Meggie who’s thrown into a world she knows nothing about, he seems to be a Mirrorworld expert. Also, it sometimes feels like it’s more recklessness than courage that makes him act the way he does. So my question is: was creating a hero like him a conscious decision? I would also love to know how the idea of him came along! -Clem
