Cora asked Philippa Gregory:

Hi Mrs Gregory, I really loved all your Tudor books thus far and I am awaiting the Taming of the Queen eagerly. I was wondering if you were planning to write a book about the generation before Henry VIII, i.e. the war of the roses, Elizabeth and Henry VII's story, etc? I know I would really enjoy them! Kind regards, Cora

Philippa Gregory Hi Cora. There's so much for you to catch up on! I've just finished a series on the Wars of the Roses – The Cousins' War Series. There are six books, spanning the period – the first (The Lady of the Rivers, on Henry VIII's great-grandmother Jacquetta of Luxembourg) opens in 1430 and the last (The King's Curse) covers the aftermath and closes in 1541. The book on Elizabeth of York and Henry VII is The White Princess. There's also a television adaptation, The White Queen, based on the central three books in the series, which show the same period from the perspective of three very different figures – The White Queen (Elizabeth Woodville), The Red Queen (Margaret Beaufort) and The Kingmaker's Daughter (Anne Neville). I hope you enjoy them all.
