You've said that you don't plan out your books before hand, but I recently read an interview with you where you mentioned that the books would have a (happy) ending in the year 1800. Do you have a general idea of what you want to cover but not know the specifics? Or do you just have a last scene in mind? Thanks so much for your books by the way. I love them!

That's just the sort of normal vague answer you give to the kind of question that you don't really have an answer to, but people keep asking it all the time and get offended if you don't answer, because they think you're just keeping stuff from them.

I am very new to the Outlander fandom. After 863 pages + 16 episodes + plenty of swooning I am a proud and certified Outlander and Diana Gabaldon. My question: If Jamie and Claire’s roles were reversed in Wentworth prison, would Jamie have fought for Claire the way she did to bring him back to her? P.S: I love your writing and I am looking forward to devouring the next seven books in the series.
