Manny Rayner I would start with The Selfish Gene. It's the book that made him famous and it's still maybe the best one.

say you were an expat who, just for instance, because it's my reality, lived in Uruguay - where it usually costs about 5 times more and takes at least a month- and sometimes 6 months (no, really) to have a book shipped from Europe - (i've never had a successful package from the USA) who wanted to read one of your books - just a theorectical question- of course... which would YOU start with / take a chance on ordering?
