Because if Nick was cursed by Ash because of Simi did the curse spread to the other two? I am trying to understand what happened to Nick, Cherise and Tia which all were connected to Nick.

That is the chicken/egg question that Nick and Ash grapple with and are trying to figure out. They don't know either. Would it have happened? Was it destiny or not? Can it be stopped? That literally is the purpose of the series is to see how much of what happened is free will and how much is predestined. Hugs!

I love reading your books and I find there isn't one that that I haven't cried at least once though. With both Acheron and Styxx, I needed a huge box of tissues for. With such hard histories, I'm glad both got their happy endings, but they must be hard to write without crying as you write. When you are writing any of them, do you find yourself crying as well or do you try not to let yourself react to the words now?
