Good Morning, I was reading some of the other question & answers that were asked of you & it sparked a question....You mention that you have always been a writer but now it is your only career & you describe your writing process--it sounds very demanding & exhausting. Do you enjoy the act of writing as much now as you have always have? or Do deadlines and rankings add stress to your craft? Is it still fun?
Scott Hildreth
I have never been happier with my writing or my life. The changes in what I write have made writing not only a career, but something I actually look forward to on a daily basis.
My deadlines are self-imposed, and although I typically make them very difficult to obtain, the short schedules allow me to become immersed in my writing, and that level of dedication is more satisfying than a relaxing 'get it done when you get it done' approach. In the end, I look back at the stories and feel as if I have made new friends, and had new experiences in life. An exhausting schedule is a small price to pay for all of the friends I have made and it's almost as if I've been given the opportunity to live multiple lifetimes. In short, I love it.
My rankings aren't as important to me as most believe they are. I feel fortunate to have received the author and book/sales ranking I have in the last few years.
In my eyes, they are all the confirmation I need to allow me to understand my readers are enjoying my life as much as I am. And sharing it (the joy of the story) is really all that matters.

Hi Scott! First, Thanks for writing such awesome books!! I have only recently discovered your work but I'm about to start reading Erik's series. I've already read the Sinners and UN series. I'm trying to find To The Depths of Hell but it has been removed from Amazon. Where else can I find it?
