Alyssa asked Isabella Modra:

Any tips on writing an book?

Isabella Modra Hi Alyssa, I'm flattered you've asked for my opinion on writing - it makes me feel very privileged. If you're just starting out, I'd suggest finding something that inspires you and then write as much as you can and as often as you can about something you're passionate about. When I first started, I was 13 and I was obsessed with teenage mysteries (Nancy Drew, Veronica Mars, etc) and that's what I wrote about. My inspirations changed to vampire fiction when Twilight came out, and then I became obsessed with superhero pop-culture and wrote Rouge. Don't try to write what you think might be popular or something you know nothing about - write what makes you excited. And if you want a tip for your writing structure, I always try to come up with a new twist at the end of each scene/chapter. Keep your readers on their toes and stay away from cliches. Hope that helps! :D
