Did you like the movie they made of Inkheart?

Cornelia Funke I did like the process of making it, Mary, but not the result. It felt as if I had woven a flying carpet and they gave me back a handkerchief and said it's the same. BUT all the artists involved were very passionate, so no one is to be blamed. A book like Inkheart is too complex to become a movie. I should have known! I don't sell the Mirrorworld-books because of this experience.

Hey Cornelia! Do you have any tips on how to stop overthinking when wanting to write a book? I have a lot of ideas and stories that I desperately want to tell but I'm always so scared of "screwing up" or not doing it any justice and therefore regretting it later on. I keep thinking so much into it all that I just sit on my notes that keep piling up and I don't know how to actually start writing :/
