Keep going! Like so many things in life, persistence is one of the most important. You never know when the next opportunity might show up and you have to be 'in the game,' writing and if you're intent on publishing, querying, talking to agents, publishers, attending conferences. It all adds up, although I know it doesn't always feel that way.
