What inspired you to write Anna Dressed In Blood? When you write, does the story just come to you or does it take long to think of what to write?

Kendare Blake I wrote Anna because it had been a long time since I'd written something with blood and guts. And when I write, the story does seem to be there already. I just have to find it. It feels sort of like following a string tied to tree trunks in some foggy woods.

If any one your books were to go all the way into being made into series, (I'm personally hoping for a Mortal Gods movie!) how much influence do you think you'd have in the screenplay writing process? Not sure if this hasn't been asked before, but in Anna Dressed In Blood (and the Girl of Nightmares, actually) what inspired you in writing the scenes where Cas goes into Anna's basement, or in the second book, when the characters walk through the suicide forest? I love you way you wrote them, and was just wondering how you came up with them.
