When did you find out that you have a thing ( I mean talent / interest) for writing? and how?

Darren Shan I was five or six years of age when I first started writing short stories and found out that I was pretty good at it, though it was when I was a teenager that I truly started to chase the dream and started writing in my spare time and pushing myself to do more.
