Charlotte asked Kerri Maniscalco:

What was the hardest part about writing your novel? Did you ever feel like giving up on it?

Kerri Maniscalco The hardest part was definitely all the research that went into it. (From the Ripper murders, to medical practices during the time, clothing, society expectations, and even small things like soap or popular perfumes.) Sometimes it would take an entire day just to find one detail that ended up being a half a sentence. It was SO worth it, though. Hopefully it will bring that time to life for readers :)

Oh, yes! I think it's normal to feel like giving up on any project at least few times or million. The trick is staying with it, and remembering that feeling will pass and be replaced with excitement again.
