Jason R. Koivu Mason, you definitely could become a good author, but it does take dedication. Read, practice writing, study writing, and then read and write some more. You also have to learn to love rewriting. Being able to push yourself to edit and revise your own work over and over again is tough, and I think that's where a lot of potentially good writers give up. Writing is work, but if you love all aspects of writing, you will love your work!
