Hi Katie! You've written amazing stories. With Echo in a Pushing the Limits, how did you come up with the idea for her to have the scars? I have had to deal with bad scarring as well but her character was amazing. Cecilia

Katie McGarry Hi Cecilia,

I have a few scars on my body. Nothing horrible. A few can be seen, some can't because they can easily be concealed by clothing. I was bitten by a dog when I was in second grade and was very paranoid about the scars they left when I was much younger.

I was able to take that aspect of myself and put it into a story.
