Hi Gary -- I really enjoyed your book Where's the Next Shelter. It was funny and also very touching. I do have a trail question that will probably be able to answer. I'm planning a 9 day hike next May. I know PA gets really rocky, but how rocky will it be as I leave from Boiling Springs? I just want to get myself mentally prepared and also plan times/distances accordingly.
