Marco
Marco asked Beth Revis:

And what was your inspiration behind the world-building/plot in Across the Universe? :)

Beth Revis It came from growing up in and then becoming a teacher in a very small town rural area. Like, literally the school where I worked had a goat field and a cow pasture. But even though it was all wide-open farmland, if you didn't have a car or money, you were trapped. So I built on that idea--being trapped. I added steel walls and threw my characters into space. I gave them the whole universe, but I gave them walls too.
