Hello Mr. Gwynne. Working my way through Ruin, trying to pace myself. It's not going very well. :) Loving it! Already looking forward to the fourth installment. Will you continue this series after the fourth book? Or do you have ideas about some new stories? I look forward to reading those too!
John Gwynne
Hi Tisha,
Thanks for getting in touch. I'm so pleased to hear that you're enjoying Ruin. The fourth book in the series, titled Wrath, is the last one. Just for your information, I finished writing Wrath a week ago and it is with my editor now.
As for what I'm writing after Wrath, I have a deal for a new trilogy, set in the same world as the Faithful and the Fallen, the Banished Lands. It will take place a hundred or so years after the events of Wrath. Here's what my publishers had to layabout it:

I hope that helps.
All the best,

Hello John! I started Malice yesterday (page ~60 right now), and I think that I can spot a lot of analogies between the Kingdom of Scotland and its various fiefdoms and the invasions of Norwegian reavers. Am I to assume that you read a lot of Scottish history and used a good part of it in the series? Regards, Dimitrios P.S. 1 Does everyone in Tenebral wear kilts? P.S. 2 Nice Dane axe in your photo!

Mr. Gwynne, Thanks for the books so far. I've imported hardback copies into the USA from third party sellers in the UK since I prefer to read and own them in that format. Has there been any discussion/decision on whether to offer your second trilogy in hardcover for sale in the USA? Shipping from the UK can run as high as 15 to 20 GBP which is a bit pricey. All the best, REL
