I really love how the situations of the PTL series and Thunder Road series are so real. Would you ever consider writing a new adult novel? Is that something you would like to write? I love your books because they touch pieces of my life that I have lived. Thank you for writing! :) p.s. don't stop writing young adult novels!

Hi Maria,
Thank you for reading my books!
Yes, I think about writing a new adult novel all the time and I would love to do it. I honestly would love to be published in new adult and adult. Part of the reason why I haven't is timing. I have deadlines to meet for my young adult and I never want to miss one of those deadlines. I absolutely love writing young adult and I don't ever want to stop writing these stories.
As for new adult and adult, it's going to be tough to find publishers who will want to take a risk on me in a new genre. Yes, it definitely happens and I would love to be the person it happens to, but sometimes crossing genres is very tough. Sometimes publishers don't want to take that risk, sometimes your readers don't want to cross genres with you.
I am honestly looking into writing new adult and adult. I'm learning more about new adult and adult publishers and keeping my options open for self-publishing for when I have a novel ready to go.
Thank you so much for reading my books!
Katie

In the Happily Ever After novella do Chris and Lacy have kids? (I think it says in the story that they're still together.) If so, do you know their names/ages?
(Major Chris and Lacy fan and forever hopeful that you will write something with their POVs!!) <3
Thank you for your books! Very excited for Only a Breath Apart!
